Data Visualisation Analyst About the Role

We are looking for a Data Visualisation Analyst to join a growing analytics team. This role is ideal for someone with strong Power BI expertise who enjoys turning complex data into clear, actionable insights that support business decision-making.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality dashboards, reports, and data models while working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver impactful reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop intuitive, high-performance Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Translate business requirements into effective visualisations, measures, and reporting assets.
  • Build, maintain, and optimise semantic models using best-practice modelling techniques.
  • Develop and maintain DAX calculations and Power Query transformations.
  • Monitor and improve dashboard performance, usability, and reliability.
  • Manage reporting security, access controls, and deployment processes.
  • Support testing, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance of reporting solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical and user documentation.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to deliver accurate, scalable, and user-focused reporting solutions.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience developing Power BI dashboards in a commercial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud analytics platforms.
  • Strong SQL skills, including query optimisation and data validation.
  • Good understanding of data modelling, reporting architecture, and BI best practices.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
