Data Architect - Palantir Foundry (Healthcare)

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Architect with deep Palantir Foundry expertise to lead enterprise-scale data platform design within the UK health sector. This role will drive architecture, ontology modelling, governance, and scalable data product development across clinical and operational domains.

You will play a key role in shaping next-generation health data ecosystems using one of the world's most advanced data operating platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Palantir Foundry architecture (pipelines, transforms, ontology, governance, operational apps)
• Own and evolve enterprise ontology models (object types, links, semantic layers)
• Design scalable, modular, and governed data pipelines aligned to Foundry best practices
• Integrate structured, unstructured, streaming, and IoT datasets
• Build ontology-driven data products and KPIs for clinical pathways, workforce planning, and operational intelligence
• Implement security, lineage, classification, and compliance controls
• Collaborate with clinicians, engineers, DevOps, and senior leadership
• Support AWS-based Foundry deployments (S3, KMS, monitoring, multi-AZ)

Required Experience

• Extensive hands-on Palantir Foundry architecture experience
• Strong knowledge of healthcare datasets (EPR, PAS, FHIR/HL7, clinical coding)
• Enterprise data modelling/ontology design expertise
• Experience within regulated environments (NHS, ICS, public sector)
• Strong stakeholder communication skills

• Palantir Foundry Solution Architect Certification
• AWS Solutions Architect Certification
• Knowledge of FHIR, HL7v2, SNOMED CT
• DevOps/CI-CD exposure
