Job Description

I am seeking a highly experienced Senior Platform Manager to lead the end-to-end strategy, roadmap and delivery of global Finance technology platforms. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving platform excellence across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury and General Ledger, with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations at the core.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex, global environments and is confident owning multi-stream technology portfolios, partnering with senior Finance stakeholders, and ensuring disciplined, value-driven delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the Finance Technology Platform roadmap across AR, AP, Treasury & GL.
  • Act as the single point of accountability for Finance platform change and performance.
  • Ensure all programmes and workstreams are sequenced, governed and aligned to business priorities.
  • Drive standardisation, automation, and simplification across Finance processes.
  • Lead the delivery of enhancements and transformation initiatives across D365 F&O and related satellite systems.
  • Partner closely with senior Finance leadership, translating strategy into executable technology outcomes.
  • Manage and mentor a team of delivery professionals including Project Managers, BAs and Change leads.
  • Ensure platform stability, data quality, control integrity and operational readiness.
  • Oversee vendor engagement and work closely with Microsoft and implementation partners.

Experience Required

  • 10+ years in Finance Technology, ERP Platforms or Enterprise Systems leadership.
  • Deep, hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
  • Proven success owning large-scale, multi-stream ERP/Finance technology roadmaps.
  • Strong understanding of Finance operations: GL, AP, AR, Treasury, Reporting, Tax.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex delivery across global, matrixed environments.
  • Experience managing project managers and cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder skills, able to challenge and influence at senior levels.
  • Strong process, controls and governance mindset.
