We're looking for a Customer Experience Advisor to join our aftersales team. In this Service Advisor role, you'll be the friendly point of contact for customers, helping them feel informed, supported and confident throughout their service visit.
If you enjoy meeting people, solving problems and making someone's day a little easier, we'd love to hear from you. You don't need to know everything about cars: your attitude, communication skills and commitment to excellent customer service matter most.
What you'll do- Welcome customers and listen carefully to their service and repair needs.
- Manage service bookings and help plan appointments with the workshop team.
- Explain recommended work, estimates and timescales clearly, and obtain customer approval before additional work goes ahead.
- Keep customers updated on progress and respond to questions with care and professionalism.
- Work closely with technicians and the parts team to keep each visit running smoothly.
- Maintain accurate customer records, prepare job paperwork and explain invoices when vehicles are ready for collection.
- Follow up with customers and help resolve concerns, taking pride in a positive customer experience.
- A friendly, approachable manner and a genuine interest in looking after people.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Good organisation, attention to detail and reliability.
- A calm, practical approach to solving problems and managing competing priorities.
- Confidence using computers and a willingness to learn new systems.
- A positive team attitude and an interest in building a long-term career.
Motor industry experience is an advantage, but it isn't essential. Experience in customer service, hospitality or retail could be a great fit. We'll provide the training and support to help you succeed.
