Company Overview: Our client is a Tier 1 mission-critical contractor specialising in hyperscale data centre construction across the UK and Europe, delivering facilities for clients including AWS, Microsoft, Google, Meta, and Oracle. Projects range from 30MW to 150MW campuses and include substations, data halls, central utility plants, and complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure. The organisation has a secured pipeline exceeding £5bn and offers excellent long-term career progression. Salary: £90,000-£110,000

Role Purpose: The CSA Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of hyperscale data centre construction projects, ensuring alignment with programme, commercial, safety, and technical requirements. This role plays a critical function in ensuring infrastructure is delivered to mission-critical standards and supports successful commissioning and operational handover.

Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Lead and manage delivery of construction scope
  • Project Delivery: Coordinate subcontractors and internal teams
  • Project Delivery: Ensure infrastructure delivered meets client requirements
  • Programme Management: Manage delivery in accordance with programme milestones
  • Programme Management: Identify and mitigate programme risks
  • Commercial Management: Support commercial performance and cost control
  • Commercial Management: Manage subcontractor performance
  • Commissioning Support: Ensure infrastructure supports commissioning readiness
  • Commissioning Support: Support integrated systems testing
  • Safety and Quality: Ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Safety and Quality: Maintain quality standards and compliance
  • Authority and Decision Making: Authority to manage subcontractors and construction teams within assigned scope
  • Authority and Decision Making: Authority to escalate commercial and programme risks
  • Authority and Decision Making: Authority to enforce safety and quality standards

Key Technical Scope: Structural and architectural infrastructure

KPIs: Programme adherence, Commercial performance, Safety performance, Quality compliance, Client satisfaction

Career Progression: Progression into senior leadership roles within project delivery or operational management
