Catering Assistant
Pay: £12.21 per hour (increasing in April)
Hours: 30 hours per week
Working pattern: Monday to Friday
Shifts: 7:30am - 2:30pm or 8:30am - 3:30pm

We are currently looking for a Catering Assistant to join a busy and friendly food service team. This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and takes pride in delivering good quality food and customer service.

Duties will include for a Catering Assistant:

• Assisting with the preparation and service of fresh food
• Setting up and maintaining clean, attractive food and counter displays
• Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Operating the till and handling payments accurately
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Supporting the wider catering team during busy periods

The ideal Catering Assistant will:

• Have a positive, reliable, and hardworking attitude
• Enjoy working as part of a team
• Be confident dealing with customers
• Be able to work well under pressure
• Have good timekeeping and attention to detail
• Previous catering experience is helpful but not essential

Additional information:

• If successful, you will be required to complete a DBS check
• Full training will be provided
