Cover Supervisor

Role: Cover Supervisor
Location: Leicester
Salary: £90 - £120 per day, depending on experience
Start Date: Immediate starts available

As a Cover Supervisor, your main responsibility will be to manage classrooms during the absence of regular teachers, ensuring that students remain engaged and focused on the pre-set work. This role offers valuable experience in a school setting, making it ideal for those considering a career in teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising classes in the absence of teachers.
• Managing student behavior and ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
• Distributing and collecting work set by teachers.
• Supporting students with their learning and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Providing feedback to teachers on class progress and any issues encountered.

Requirements:

• The right to work in the UK.
• A valid DBS check registered on the Update Service (or be willing to get one).
• Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
• A degree or equivalent qualification is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a classroom and maintain discipline.
• A genuine interest in education and supporting students' learning.
