Are you looking to take your first step into a rewarding career in education? Thrive Education is working closely with a number of fantastic secondary schools across Gloucestershire, and we're looking for confident, adaptable individuals to join our team as Cover Supervisors.

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll be delivering pre planned lessons, maintaining a positive learning environment, and supporting students across a range of subjects. This role is ideal for aspiring teachers, recent graduates, teaching assistants ready for the next step, or anyone with strong classroom presence and a passion for helping young people succeed.

What the role involves

• Supervising classes during teacher absence
• Delivering set work and ensuring learning continues smoothly
• Managing behaviour in line with school policies
• Building rapport with students and staff
• Providing feedback to teaching teams at the end of each day

• Confidence, resilience, and strong communication skills
• Ability to think on your feet and remain calm under pressure
• A genuine interest in education and supporting student progress
