As a Cover Supervisor, you'll be delivering pre planned lessons, maintaining a positive learning environment, and supporting students across a range of subjects. This role is ideal for aspiring teachers, recent graduates, teaching assistants ready for the next step, or anyone with strong classroom presence and a passion for helping young people succeed.
What the role involves- Supervising classes during teacher absence
- Delivering set work and ensuring learning continues smoothly
- Managing behaviour in line with school policies
- Building rapport with students and staff
- Providing feedback to teaching teams at the end of each day
- Confidence, resilience, and strong communication skills
- Ability to think on your feet and remain calm under pressure
- A genuine interest in education and supporting student progress
