About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absence, ensuring learning continues effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes during teacher absence, delivering pre-set work
• Maintain a calm and productive classroom environment
• Manage behaviour in line with school policies
• Support students in staying focused and on task
• Report any issues or concerns to relevant staff
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Confidence in leading a classroom independently
• Ability to adapt quickly to different subjects and year groups
• A calm, consistent and professional approach
