An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and established Corporate Partner to join the Birmingham office of a highly regarded international law firm and take the lead on the continued development of its Corporate offering.

This is a strategic appointment for a lawyer with an established profile in the Birmingham and wider regional market, together with a strong following and the commercial drive to develop and grow a team.

The Role

As Head of Corporate, you will take a leading role in shaping the firm's Corporate practice in Birmingham, working closely with the wider national and international network.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:

• Lead and develop the Birmingham Corporate team.
• Take responsibility for the strategic growth of the practice.
• Develop existing client relationships and generate new business.
• Work on a broad range of high-quality corporate transactions.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm's national and international offices.
• Identify opportunities for further team and practice development.
• Play a key role in the continued growth and profile of the Birmingham office.

The Candidate

We are looking for an established Corporate Partner with a strong reputation in the Birmingham market and demonstrable business development credentials.

You will ideally have:

• A strong track record as a Corporate Partner or senior Corporate lawyer ready to take the next step.
• An established following and demonstrable client relationships.
• Excellent technical Corporate experience.
• A strong understanding of the Birmingham and wider Midlands market.
• Proven business development and networking skills.
• The ambition and ability to build and lead a successful team.
• A collaborative approach and the desire to work within an international platform.
