We are seeking an action-oriented, strategic communications professional to drive impactful media engagement and support key business priorities. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, strong messaging skills, and an ability to navigate complex topics with clarity and confidence.
Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic media relations plans to generate consistent, high-quality coverage across tier-one and trade publications.

Stay informed on key issues and trends across industries such as financial services, retail, and consumer goods.

Create and adapt compelling messaging and content, simplifying complex topics into clear and concise narratives.

Draft, edit, and manage a wide range of media materials including press releases, talking points, Q&As, articles, and other PR collateral.

Manage and mentor team members to help them thrive professionally.

Provide strategic media counsel to business leaders and support them in public positioning and messaging.

Collaborate across teams to deliver integrated communications campaigns and programs.

Localize and tailor global content for regional media opportunities.

Drive creativity and innovation in media outreach to achieve measurable results.

Work effectively within a matrixed, collaborative organization.

Limited travel may be required.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) preferred.

6-8 years of experience in public relations or corporate communications, either in-house or at an agency, ideally within marketing, technology, or professional services sectors.

Proven ability to provide strategic communications counsel to senior leadership.

Strong understanding of media measurement tools and reporting techniques.

Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills in a professional setting.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proven track record of producing high-quality media materials, including press releases, pitches, Q&As, and bylined content.

In-depth understanding of the UK media landscape, particularly within financial services.

Proficiency with social media platforms and their role in corporate communications.

Experience supporting major industry events.

Strong relationship management skills with media, partners, and other stakeholders.

Strong business acumen and ability to align communications with strategic objectives.

Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
