Our Digitalization, IT and Transformation (VD) department consists of over 100 dedicated colleagues. We come from a wide range of professional backgrounds. We are united by the common goal of doing the right thing: shaping education in the beautiful city of Hamburg and thereby reaching over 500,000 people in the city with digitalization. In this context, we work closely with all departments of the BSB, almost 400 schools as well as other (specialist) authorities and non-school stakeholders.

Your tasks- You will initiate and manage exciting digitization projects in the area of digital office communication at the authority.
- You implement regulatory requirements for existing and future office communication systems and create usage concepts and instructions for action.
- You play an active role in designing the workplace of the future and implementing collaborative tools (e.g. M365, Microsoft Teams, Softphone)
- You coordinate and manage the technical workplace equipment including accessories together with the service provider Dataport and the Senate Chancellery.
- You represent the head of unit and lead a team of 5-7 colleagues.
- University degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in computer science, business informatics or a comparable computer science-related field of study or
- Skills and experience equivalent to a university degree on the basis of a completed degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) in the above-mentioned fields of study and additionally with four years of relevant professional experience
or as a civil servant:
- Qualification for career group 2, second entry-level post in the general services field on the basis of a completed degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in one of the above-mentioned fields of study
- You can also apply if you are qualified for career group 2, first entry-level post in the General Services subject area on the basis of a degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) in one of the above subjects and you are already in an office in grade A12.
- Experience in IT project management
- Strong communication skills, a structured way of working and the ability to communicate with decision-makers in an appropriate manner
- High degree of initiative, commitment and solution orientation
- Affinity for digital trends and modern IT solutions
- Good knowledge of current IT technologies, network technology and experience in using ITSM tools
- 1 position, permanent, to be filled as soon as possible

- 30 days vacation per year
