Conflict Resolutions & Romani Peoples An Interdisciplinary Insight

Details

The conference focuses on conflicts and their resolution strategies within Romani studies from multiple perspectives, including anthropology of law and post-colonial interpretations of intercultural conflicts. It explores the continuum of strategies, levels of formality and informality, and dynamics within Roma communities, between Roma groups, and between Roma and non-Roma societies.

The conference is organized by Grégoire Cousin, Giorgia Decarli and Stefania Pontrandolfo for the Centre for Ethnographic Research and Applied Anthropology "Francesca Cappelletto" (Human Sciences Department - University of Verona).
