Job Description
Summary

We are looking for a dependable, detail oriented individual to join our team as a Compliance Sampler in Water Quality. The role involves collecting water samples from reservoirs, treatment plants, and customer properties, ensuring that all samples, tests, and documentation meet South East Water and national regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
  • Collect samples from a variety of locations and conduct water quality investigations.
  • Perform on site tests and quality control checks in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Plan routes and self manage time to meet sampling deadlines.
  • Maintain all paperwork and electronic records to the required standard.
  • Coordinate sampling in collaboration with water production staff to ensure sampling occurs while the plant is running.
  • Participate in a weekend rota, delivering samples to the laboratory in Farnborough.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and comfort speaking with customers.
  • Proficiency with IT and computer systems.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
  • Understanding of water sampling processes.

Compensation

£17,077.01 (pro rata of 22.5 hours, average equivalent £28,082.20).
