Commercial Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor - High-End Commercial Fit Out

Location: Manchester
Salary: £75,000-£85,000 + package, depending on experience

I'm currently looking to speak with experienced Commercial Managers and Senior Quantity Surveyors with a background in high-end commercial fit out, working for established main contractors across Manchester.

These opportunities are suited to commercially driven professionals with experience delivering CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects, premium office refurbishments and high-specification workplace environments.

The roles offer the opportunity to work on prestigious commercial projects, take ownership of commercial responsibilities and play a key role in the successful financial delivery of schemes.

Key responsibilities may include:

Managing the commercial aspects of high-end commercial fit-out projects from procurement through to final account.
Overseeing subcontractor procurement, package management and commercial negotiations.
Preparing cost forecasts, valuations, variations and financial reports.
Monitoring project budgets, managing contractual risks and protecting profit margins.
Negotiating and agreeing subcontractor accounts and final accounts.
Working closely with project managers, site teams, clients and subcontractors.
Identifying commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidates will have:

Previous experience working for a main contractor within the commercial fit-out sector.
A strong understanding of CAT A and CAT B projects.
Proven experience managing subcontractor packages and project finances.
Excellent commercial awareness, negotiation skills and attention to detail.
The ability to work collaboratively with project delivery teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
