CNC Machinist

Our client, a leading global manufacturer of precision-engineered metal components, is looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join their established machining team in Lincoln.

You'll operate CNC machinery to produce high-quality components used across automotive, marine, power generation and other heavy-engineering sectors. This is a hands-on role in a busy production environment where accuracy and safety are key.

• Operating CNC machines to manufacture precision components
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Performing tool changes, offsets and basic programme edits
• Using measuring tools such as micrometers and gauges
• Completing production records accurately
• Working safely to manufacturing and quality standards

• Experience operating CNC machinery in an engineering/manufacturing setting
• Confident reading technical drawings
• Able to use precision measurement equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience with heavy/forged metal components (advantageous)
• Team player with good attention to detail

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or CNC Machining (preferred)
• Engineering apprenticeship beneficial but not essential

You must be comfortable working a rotating shift pattern, including mornings, nights and mixed shifts between these.
