Person specification Education and Qualifications
- RGN (NMC Sub part 1 Adult branch)
- University certificate or equivalent in HIV and/or Sexual Health training
- Nurse prescribing course or willingness to train
- Qualification /training in management and/or leadership
- Certificate in mentorship course or equivalent
- LOC (IUC) or equivalent
- LOC (SDI) or equivalent
- Substantial experience working in a multidisciplinary team
- Substantial experience of operationally managing and coordinating a team
- Must be able to prioritise own work effectively and be able to direct activities of others
- Experience of managing and motivating a team and reviewing performance of the individuals
- Experience in managing and leading a team through change
- Experience of delivering training to colleagues
- Substantial experience in line managing staff
- Ability to problem solve, negotiate and influence where appropriate
- Ability to make decisions autonomously, when required, on difficult issues, working to tight and often changing timescales
