Salary and Hours

Salary: £26,806 - £27,032
Hours: 36 per week, 52 weeks

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.

Job Overview

St Augustine's RC High School is situated in the west of the City of Edinburgh and has a school roll of 1035. The catchment area encompasses Catholic and non denominational primary schools extending from South Queensferry in the north to Balerno in the south. As a result of parental choice, our current S1 contains students drawn from 31 primaries.

Responsibilities
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment.
  • Willingness to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
  • Competent ICT skills, including databases, spreadsheets and word documents.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience of working to tight deadlines.
  • Use of SEEMIS for timetable input, SQA exam rooming and usual office/admin duties.
Qualifications

Training will be provided where necessary.

Pre Employment Checks

As a regulated role with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007, the preferred candidate must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required to be supplied. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement will be subject to satisfactory outcomes of both checks.
