Job OverviewSt Augustine's RC High School is situated in the west of the City of Edinburgh and has a school roll of 1035. The catchment area encompasses Catholic and non denominational primary schools extending from South Queensferry in the north to Balerno in the south. As a result of parental choice, our current S1 contains students drawn from 31 primaries.
Responsibilities- Experience of working in a busy office environment.
- Willingness to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
- Competent ICT skills, including databases, spreadsheets and word documents.
- Excellent communication skills and experience of working to tight deadlines.
- Use of SEEMIS for timetable input, SQA exam rooming and usual office/admin duties.
Training will be provided where necessary.
Pre Employment ChecksAs a regulated role with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007, the preferred candidate must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required to be supplied. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement will be subject to satisfactory outcomes of both checks.
