Summary Vacancy for School Cleaner - Permanent (subject to completion of a satisfactory probation period).

Post is 16 hours p/w Monday - Friday Term Time only plus 5 weeks, to commence ASAP.

15:30pm - 18:45pm Monday to Thursday. 15:30pm - 18:30pm Friday.

Salary FLW £13.45 per hour

We are seeking to appoint a school cleaner in this busy secondary school. General cleaning duties include vacuuming, dusting, emptying bins, cleaning washroom facilities etc. The job does involve some lifting and a moderate level of physical activity. The successful candidate must be able to use their own initiative and be able to respond proactively within their role.

The closing date is 9am on 25/09/2026. The interview date is W/C 28/09/2026. Please note that in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2026, an online search will be carried out as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates.
