Civils Site Manager - Leading Civil Engineering Contractor (Cork City)

A well-regarded and established civil engineering contractor is looking for an experienced Civils Site Manager to oversee a major residential project in Cork City. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day site operations, ensuring that the project is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. This position offers long term, stable employment with a respected company, known for delivering high profile projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all on site activities, ensuring work is carried out to the highest quality and safety standards.
• Lead and supervise site teams, including subcontractors and direct staff.
• Oversee project timelines and budgets, ensuring adherence to design specifications.
• Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations on site.
• Liaise with clients, engineers, and project managers to ensure the smooth progress of the project.
• Hold regular site meetings and provide detailed updates on project progress.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Site Manager, ideally in civil or residential construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering practices, construction management, and health & safety regulations.
• Proven experience managing multiple teams and subcontractors efficiently.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills.
• A full, clean driver's license.

Salary & Benefits

• Competitive salary between €80,000 and €90,000 per annum.
• Long term, stable position based in Cork City.
