Job Description
Site Clerk

A leading Main Contractor is seeking a Site Clerk for a long-term housing project in New Ross, Wexford. The ideal candidate should have some construction experience and, preferably, a degree in a construction related discipline.

Role Responsibilities
  • General site administration
  • BCAR (Building Control Amendment Regulations) administration
  • Quality control
  • Health & Safety paperwork administration
  • Document control for the site management team
  • Procurement of site materials and reporting to Head Office for on site accounts activities
  • Maintenance of the site order book and reconciliation of orders with delivery dockets
  • Inspection of deliveries where feasible
  • Administration of returns in accordance with company policy
  • Verification of invoices and dockets prior to submission to Head Office
  • Data entry and backup tasks
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience, ideally in construction
  • Strong attention to detail and diligence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
