The Chief Constable of Cleveland Police is seeking applicants for the position of Chief Superintendent.

To support this process, we are hosting a Chief Superintendent Familiarisation Event at Cleveland Police Headquarters. These will feature an introduction from Deputy Chief Constable David Felton, followed by a presentation from the HR Recruitment team, providing detailed information about the recruitment process.

Applications must be submitted no later than 23:55 on 6 April 2026. Interviews are expected to take place on 21 April 2026.

We would welcome applications from current serving officers either:

Superintendent to Chief Superintendent on promotion OR

Lateral transfer as a Chief Superintendent.
