Job Description

Chef de Partie - Busy Hospitality Venue

Salary: £31,500 per annum + share of tips

Hours: 40 hours per week

Overtime: Paid

Shifts: 5 days out of 7 (including evenings and weekends)

The Role

We are recruiting a Chef de Partie to join a busy and growing kitchen team in a high quality hospitality environment. This role offers excellent variety, working across restaurant service, events and banqueting including weddings and private functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present high quality dishes to consistent standards
  • Work across all kitchen sections to support service delivery
  • Assist with menu development and seasonal dishes
  • Support event and function catering
  • Maintain food hygiene, safety and COSHH standards
  • Manage stock control, ordering and storage
  • Support training of junior staff
  • Work closely with senior chefs
Skills & Experience
  • Previous Chef de Partie experience in a busy kitchen
  • Passion for food and high standards
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Creative approach to food
Qualifications
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 minimum
  • NVQ Level 2 in Cookery desirable
Shift Patterns
  • Early: 06:45 - 15:00
  • Late: 12:00 - 21:00 (later finishes during functions)
