Salary: Grade 3 - £13.05 per hour plus 12.07% in lieu of annual leave

The Vacancy

Our Health & Fitness Assistants support people visiting NL Active facilities to achieve their fitness goals by offering instruction, advice and guidance. Health & Fitness Assistants work in NL Active gyms and guide customers at every stage of their fitness journey by delivering inductions, designing personalised programmes, setting challenges, and offering continuous encouragement and support. They are responsible for day to day operations in our gyms, ensuring all equipment is working, keeping facilities clean and tidy, and delivering group sessions such as our junior gym programme and rig workout.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver inductions, design personalised programmes, set challenges and provide continuous encouragement.
• Maintain equipment functionality and ensure gym cleanliness and tidiness.
• Run group sessions including junior gym programme and rig workout.
• Support customers at every stage of their fitness journey.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Hold a minimum Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Passionate about fitness and eager to make a difference in people's lives.
• Available for early mornings, evenings and weekends.
