Job Description
Responsibilities 
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Provide accurate information to callers and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Maintain a tidy and organised reception area
- Receive and sort daily mail and deliveries
- Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendars
- Perform basic clerical tasks such as photocopying, filing, and faxing
- Assist with data entry and record keeping
- Manage inventory of office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
- Proven work experience as a receptionist or in a similar role
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- GCSE A to C in English and maths

We are a small single handed GP practice. We have a small admin team, multiple clinicians, one nurse, 2 HCAs, Assistant Manager and Practice Manager
