About the Role
As a Business Studies Teacher, you will deliver engaging and relevant lessons that develop student's knowledge of business concepts, real-world case studies, and commercial awareness. You will help learners understand how businesses operate in a dynamic and global economy.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Teach topics such as marketing, finance, operations, human resources, and entrepreneurship
- Support GCSE and A-Level Business Studies / BTEC Business qualifications
- Assess, track, and report on student progress
- Use real-world examples and case studies to enhance learning
- Contribute to curriculum development within the department
- Support enrichment activities such as enterprise projects or business competitions
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Degree in Business Studies, Economics, Finance, or related subject
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for business education
- Ability to make lessons engaging and relevant to real-world contexts
- Good classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and student well being
- Willingness to contribute to wider school and sixth form life
