Job Introduction

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and being the friendly face that sets the tone for a positive experience? As a Business Centre Receptionist at HMRC Liverpool, you'll be at the heart of our operation-ensuring smooth communication, creating a welcoming environment, and always putting the safety and satisfaction of our customers first. Our admin team plays a crucial role in running a seamless, efficient service for all our clients and visitors.

What you'll do

• Deliver excellent customer service as the first point of contact
• Carry out general reception and administrative duties (calls, emails, filing)
• Manage meeting room bookings, setup, and AV support
• Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness in designated areas
• Assist catering and mailroom teams when required
• Report maintenance issues and follow health & safety procedures
• Handle customer queries and escalate issues where needed
• Support team operations, including room setup and moving furniture
• Complete relevant paperwork and use internal communication systems

What you Bring

Essential:

• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to follow health & safety procedures at all times
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to complete tasks to a high standard

Desirable:

• Ability to work on your own initiative
• Previous experience in a similar role
