Bookkeeper

An established accountancy practice in Hereford is looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team.

• Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
• Processing sales and purchase invoices
• Bank reconciliations and VAT returns
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Assisting with management accounts where required
• Liaising directly with clients and providing day-to-day support
• Working with accounting software such as Xero, Sage and QuickBooks

• Previous bookkeeping experience, ideally within an accountancy practice
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and VAT
• Confident using accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Comfortable working independently and managing deadlines
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• AAT qualified or equivalent would be advantageous
