Inform3 is recruiting on behalf of a leading client based in Carlow for an experienced BIM Engineer to join their growing team.
Due to continued success in securing major projects, our client is expanding and looking for a motivated BIM Engineer to support the delivery of integrated Building Information Modelling (BIM) services and drive excellence in design quality across a diverse project portfolio.
As a BIM Engineer, you will play a key role in managing BIM workflows, ensuring the highest standards in the production and delivery of 3D models and technical documentation. You will collaborate closely with Engineers and project teams to develop accurate and coordinated design solutions from concept through to construction.
Key Responsibilities- Produce high-quality 3D models and design documentation from concept stage through to project completion.
- Manage the delivery of BIM models, CAD drawings, and associated project documentation.
- Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and ensure compliance with BIM standards and procedures.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary designs, including MEP services, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee BIM processes, 2D and 3D design development, and model coordination activities.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Contribute to project planning and assist in managing team workloads to meet project deadlines.
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify and implement continuous improvements in BIM processes and design quality.
- Degree qualification in Engineering, Building Services, Construction Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years' post-graduate experience in a BIM-focused role.
- Strong proficiency in Revit and BIM software platforms.
- Experience within the Mechanical and/or Electrical sector is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret and understand construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Experience working across multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
