Location: Essen (Hybrid)

Salary: €43,200 - €48,000

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Bid Writer to join our client that is in the public sector.

Responsibility:

• Preparing persuasive, high-quality bid documents that meet client requirements.
• Creating storyboards and supporting subject matter experts to bring ideas to life.
• Collaborating with technical and commercial teams to translate complex solutions into clear, compelling narratives.
• Developing well-structured, visually engaging documents in partnership with our design team.
• Highlighting our strengths through winning strategies, case studies, and unique selling points.
• Conducting targeted research and preparing supporting materials for governance reviews.
• Assisting bid managers and colleagues with ad-hoc tasks to ensure timely and polished submissions.

Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in public sector bidding.
• Strong writing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging texts - even under tight deadlines.
• A structured, detail-oriented approach with excellent organizational skills.
• Confidence in building relationships and working with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Excellent German language skills (C2 or higher) - both written and spoken.
