Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in London. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to our patients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' occupational performance and develop tailored intervention plans.

  • Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to enhance patients' functional abilities.

  • Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy interventions and adjust plans as necessary.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with trust policies.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the training of junior staff and students.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.

  • Relevant degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy.

  • Completion of NHS mandatory training.

  • Proven experience working as an Occupational Therapist within the NHS or a similar healthcare setting.

Desirable Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

  • Experience in specific areas of occupational therapy practice (e.g., neurological, mental health, paediatrics) is advantageous.

Compliance Requirements:

  • Adherence to all trust policies and procedures.

  • Completion of relevant safeguarding and health and safety training.

  • Maintenance of professional indemnity insurance.
