Join Our Team

We are seeking a highly motivated, performance-oriented individual to join as AVP, Reserving Actuary. Reporting to the Chief Reserving Actuary, this role will primarily collaborate with actuarial teams in the US and international offices.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Significant involvement in SiriusPoint's quarterly loss reserving process, including:
• Applying actuarial techniques to estimate outstanding liabilities
• Producing high-quality reserving estimates
• Assisting with GAAP, US, and Bermuda Statutory Financial Reporting
• Preparing analyses and reports
• Communicating results to management and stakeholders
• Supporting profitability by reinforcing the reserving-pricing feedback loop
• Improving and innovating all aspects of the process
• Preparing and validating data
• Training and developing junior team members

Skills and Abilities Needed:

• An actuarial credential (e.g., FCAS, ACAS) or solid progress towards one
• 5+ years of experience in loss reserving, with experience in programs and/or reinsurance a plus
• Knowledge of accounting and finance preferred
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
• A proven track record of high performance
• Strong work ethic and teamwork mindset
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and multi-task
• Programming skills (SQL, Python, R, etc.) preferred
