We're recruiting on behalf of a Mainframe Services Provider who are looking for a Mainframe Hardware System Programme to join their team on an initial 6-month contract.

As a Mainframe Hardware System Programmer, you will be responsible for:

• Support and maintain the UK Mainframe estate within a multi-site Sysplex environment.
• Upgrade the Mainframe estate to IBM Processor
• Building and activating IODF/IOCDS configurations in support of changes to the storage estate.

Proven skills and experience to help you succeed in this role:

• Previous experience working as a z/OS System Programmer
• Knowledge of the latest IBM processor generations
• Knowledge of z/OS and related technologies
