Vehicle Test Engineer - Eindhoven - ALTEN Netherlands

The Position

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Vehicle Test Engineer to join our team and contribute to ongoing client projects in Eindhoven and surrounding areas.

As a Vehicle Test Engineer, your main tasks will include:

• Developing and executing Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) tests for vehicle systems with a strong focus on performance, safety, and reliability
• Translating technical requirements into efficient and effective test plans in collaboration with engineering teams
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex testing issues across automotive system components
• Analyzing test data to assess system behavior, identify root causes, and propose technical improvements
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that testing processes align with project goals and deadlines
• Documenting test results and creating comprehensive reports for both internal stakeholders and customers

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering-related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the automotive industry, specifically with HIL testing
• Proficient in HIL testing tools and methodologies (e.g., dSPACE, NI, Vector)
• Experience in automotive system validation and testing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
• Fluent in English
• Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions

• Permanent contract with ALTEN Netherlands
• Lease car with fuel card
• Possibility of hybrid working
