Audio Visual Residential Engineer

We are looking for a talented, motivated Audio Visual Residential Engineer to join our dynamic team and provide outstanding technical support to our residential clients.

As an Audio Visual Residential Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of residential AV systems. You will work on exciting and diverse projects, delivering top-tier service while ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for AV technology, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

• Installation: Install and configure home cinema systems, multi-room audio systems, smart home integration, lighting control, home automation, and other AV solutions in residential properties.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and diagnostics on existing AV systems. Resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their AV needs, offer recommendations, and ensure satisfaction through excellent service delivery.
• System Design: Work with design teams to ensure AV systems are correctly integrated into client homes, following architectural plans and specifications.

• Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on experience in AV installations and troubleshooting in a residential setting.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of AV equipment (TVs, projectors, sound systems, control systems, etc.), home automation, and networking.
• Certifications: Relevant AV certifications such as AVIXA, CEDIA, or other industry-recognised qualifications would be an advantage.
• Customer-Focused: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information in a simple, user-friendly manner.
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
