Job Description

Assistant Head of House - responsible for supporting the Head of House and the Pastoral & Inclusion Teams, working with students and safeguarding them. The role is non teaching and involves regular contact with children.

We welcome applications from non teaching staff; no classroom teaching is required.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Previous experience as part of a team
  • Ability to make sound and logical judgments in decision making
  • Proven team player who adds value to the team
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to stay calm and use a measured, informed approach to manage conflict or pressured situations
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst supporting others to remain calm and measured
  • Resilience and positivity in equal measure
  • Ability to multi task even when under pressure
