Job Title: Asbestos Consultant / Training / Auditor

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Salary / Benefits: £25k - £38k + Training + Benefits

Our client is an industry leading Asbestos Consultancy working across the UK, providing asbestos management services on commercial and industrial sites. They are now looking for an experienced Asbestos Consultant / Training / Auditor based in the Yorkshire / M1 region. The successful candidate will support a longstanding team, delivering surveying, analytical, auditing and project management services, while providing client consultancy and asbestos awareness training.

Coverage: Yorkshire / M1 and surrounding areas - Bradford, Wakefield, Barnsley, Huddersfield, Sheffield, Worksop, Nottingham, Chesterfield, Mansfield, Matlock, Derby, Beeston, Coalville, Tamworth, Loughborough, Leicester, Market Harborough, Corby, Northampton.

Qualifications

• Combination of BOHS P402, P403, P404 or equivalent RSPH qualifications.
• Hands on experience with a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
• Experience training staff to a high standard.
• Working knowledge of HSG 264 / HSG 248.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Confidence using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
• Qualifications P401, P402, P403, P404, S301, or CCP are also valued.

Responsibilities

• Deliver asbestos awareness / non licensed training under the IAPT banner.
• Attend sites and carry out audits, management, refurbishment, demolition and re inspection surveys.
• Handle 4 site clearances and perform smoke, leak, background, re occupation, and personal air testing.
• Ensure all work complies with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
• Aid senior management and internal technical / quality teams.
• Provide training to new and existing staff.
• Conduct site assessments and liaise with clients to deliver consultancy advice and discuss scopes of work and specifications.
• Manage project timeframes and deliver comprehensive reports using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
