Water Treatment Service Engineer

Job Title: Water Treatment Service Engineer. Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire. Salary / Benefits £22k - £35k +Training +Benefits. Level of Experience: Trainee Water Treatment Service Engineer through to Lead Water Treatment Service Engineer.

A reputable, long standing Water Treatment business who specialise in delivering technical Water Treatment / Risk Assessing / Water Hygiene services. They are now seeking to recruit a conscientious and self-motivated Water Treatment Service Engineer based in and around the St Albans area. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable working within Water Treatment / Water Hygiene services such as Closed System Analysis, Cooling Tower Cleans, Chemical Dosing, as well as TMV servicing, Showerhead descales and Temperature monitoring. This client can offer a company van and excellent commission scheme following a successful probation.

• Will have experience working for an established company within the Water Treatment industry.
• Will be competent in using PDA / Tablet systems and will have excellent communication skills.
• Will be well versed in relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Knowledge of Plumbing duties would be beneficial to the role.

• Carrying out Cooling tower cleans and Chlorination's as well as Closed system analysis and system dosing.
• Undertaking CWST Cleans and disinfections.
• TMV servicing and failsafe's.
• Temperature monitoring and Water sampling.
• Showerhead descales.
• Carrying out cleaning and disinfections on Hot and Cold-Water systems.
• Collecting information to produce detailed reports on PDA / Tablet systems.
• Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with ACoP L8 /Health and Safety guidelines.
• Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients.
