Location: Sydenham Area, Belfast
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week, with flexibility for day, evening, weekend shifts

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Area Cleaning Manager to oversee cleaning operations at a key site in the Sydenham area of Belfast. This is a senior, hands-on leadership position, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and lead cleaning and housekeeping teams to consistently meet and exceed service standards
Ensure compliance with company policies, site-specific requirements, and health & safety regulations
Oversee recruitment, induction, training, and development of staff
Monitor and manage team performance, attendance, and welfare
Develop and maintain rotas to cover a range of shifts, including day and evening work
Conduct regular audits and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Act as primary contact for client liaison to maintain strong working relationships
Person Specification
Proven experience in a cleaning supervisory or management role
Strong IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication abilities
Ability to work autonomously and prioritise multiple tasks
Flexibility to oversee and work across various shifts on a weekly basis
Full UK driving Licence
