Job Description

A vacancy has arisen within the eHealth Department for a self-motivated, inquisitive, enthusiastic individual with excellent communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills to join the Clinical Applications Team in the role of Applications Specialist. As NHS Highland continues its journey to provide clinicians access to an integrated digital view of a patient's health and social care record, TrakCare PMS and other clinical applications are at the heart of our digital strategy. We have an ambitious plan to upgrade and develop our systems to provide a solid foundation for the implementation of Secondary Care Order Communications throughout NHS Highland.

The postholder will provide application expertise in the maintenance and development of NHS Highland's clinical applications from design, configuration, testing, implementation and adoption of existing and new functionality together with comprehensive support and guidance to users of TrakCare PMS and other systems.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in the use of a Patient Management System, Clinical System or Application Support as well as NHS operational knowledge.
