Food Service Assistant - Wirral

Location: Port Sunlight, Wirral, CH62 4ZD
Salary: 12.60 per hour + excellent benefits
Working Hours: 30 hours per week (Tuesday to Friday)
Contract Type: Permanent

We're looking for an FSA / Cook to join our catering team at Unilever HPC in Port Sunlight.
In this role, you'll be part of a professional and customer-focused catering service, delivering high standards of food preparation and front-of-house support. You'll help ensure daily operations run smoothly and that every customer leaves satisfied. If you're enthusiastic about food service and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What you'll do:

• Prepare and serve food in line with daily menus and food safety standards

• Support with basic cooking tasks under supervision

• Keep all kitchen and service areas clean and hygienic

• Provide excellent customer service in the dining area

• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures

• Work collaboratively as part of a small, supportive team

What you bring:

• Previous catering or food service experience (essential)

• A positive attitude and strong team ethic

• Basic Food Hygiene and H&S certificates (desirable)

• Customer-focused, polite, and hardworking

• Willingness to learn and support across multiple kitchen tasks
