Union of Jewish Students (UJS) is the leading representative body for Jewish students in the UK,representing over 10,000 Jewish students. We are committed to tackling antisemitism and promotinginclusivity across university campuses. For the past 10 years UJS has been providing Antisemitism Awarenesstraining to the Higher Education sector. Now, as part of our successful bid for the Tackling Antisemitism inEducation Programme, funded by the Department for Education, we are recruiting for several key roles tosignificantly grow this programme, join a newly created team and deliver this impactful initiative.

The Tackling Antisemitism in Education Programme aims to provide comprehensive training and resources tomore university staff and students than ever before, promoting awareness and understanding ofantisemitism. The programme includes bespoke training packages, digital campaigns, and campusexhibitions, with a focus on a significant impact on antisemitism and the experience of Jewish students inHigher Education whilst ensuring a continuous process of evaluation and improvement. This will be anexciting opportunity to shape a new role and lead the delivery of an exciting programme of training anddevelopment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of the Tackling Antisemitism inEducation Programme.
  • Manage the team of facilitators and coordinators.
  • Ensure high-quality training sessions across UKuniversities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with keystakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing teams.
  • Experience managing training programmes is a bonus.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of antisemitism and related issues.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
