Alternatives Investment Analyst

A highly regarded boutique asset manager is seeking to expand their Alternatives investment team.

The purpose of this role is to analyse alternative investments and source investment ideas from a broad investment universe including private equity, infrastructure, real estate and renewables.

Key responsibilities:

1. Research and monitor alpha generating ideas within the alternative investment universe
2. Present research and analysis to the rest of the investment team
3. Support Portfolio Managers on investment exposure to alternative investments
4. Proactively source new ideas and map the alternatives market
5. Produce written research pieces on alternatives market
6. Contribute to the asset allocation process

Ideal Profile:

1. 4-7 years relevant manager research experience within the alternatives sector
2. Excellent interpersonal skills
3. Ideally CFA or CAIA qualification
4. Highly numerate with an analytical approach
5. Strong attention to detail
6. Degree level educated
