Duration: 6-12 months

Location: Sheffield (2 days on site per week)

Pay: Inside IR35, up to £515 /day

Key Responsibilities:

• Design functional processes, flows, and support procedures
• Lead prototyping, testing, and training phases
• Conduct AI assessments and propose optimised solutions
• Develop classification algorithms and prepare datasets
• Work with image processing, text extraction, clustering, embedding models
• Implement drift detection, model monitoring (AgentEvals experience a plus)
• Document architecture and insights across projects

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience developing Chat Bots using: Python, PyCharm, NumPy, Pandas
• ML, deep learning, NLP, TensorFlow
• SQL/NoSQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL), RDBMS design
• GitHub, Jenkins, data modelling/wrangling
• Experience in supervised/unsupervised learning, classification algorithms
• Hands-on with model training, drift detection, and feature generation

Desirable:

• Background in Computer Vision, PII extraction, pattern/form recognition
• Agile methodologies and DevOps familiarity
• Knowledge of application/data security and microservices
• Strong communication skills and ability to build cross-functional relationships
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5-7 years in data science/ML solution delivery
