AEA Chelmsford Gas Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a Gas Engineer to work for this maintenance organisation. The role is based from home with work covering from Chelmsford down towards Harlow. The schedulers will, as much as possible, keep you to your local area, but on occasion you may need to travel as far as Hornsey.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks as required and liaise with clients at different locations.
• Order replacement parts as needed and ensure timely availability for jobs.
• Maintain knowledge of maintenance issues and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• You will have the necessary qualifications for the role and be fully conversant with maintenance issues.

Working Hours & On Call

Hours are generally Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm. A premium is offered for on call work, officially once every 4 weeks but typically once every 5 or 6 weeks.

Additional Requirements

• DBS check and sporadic drug and alcohol testing are required due to the nature of the company.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: £42,000 per year, plus fuel card, van, iPad and phone.
