Administrator - Stock Control

Location: Newark, Nottinghamshire

Working Hours: Tuesday to Saturday - 6:30am to 4:30pm

Pay Rate: £13.10 per hour

We are currently recruiting an Administrator - Stock Control for a busy warehouse/retail operation based in Newark. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong administrative and stock management skills.

Role Overview

As an Administrator - Stock Control, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, managing inventory levels, and supporting smooth warehouse operations. You will work closely with warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure that stock is correctly tracked, stored, and available for production or dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock records and update databases
• Monitor stock levels and trigger reorders as required
• Perform regular stock counts and reconciliations
• Coordinate with warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure stock availability
• Generate reports on inventory and stock movements
• Ensure proper storage and labelling of products
• Support administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and reporting
• Assist with audits and stock inspections

Requirements

• Previous experience in administration, stock control, or inventory management preferred
• Strong organisational and attention-to-detail skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Experience in warehouse or logistics environments is an advantage
