An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join the Diabetes & Endocrinology Department, working across all sites. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Sites: Royal Gwent Hospital, Nevill Hall Hospital, Grange University Hospital, Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr (RGH, NNH, GUH, YYF).
Main duties of the job- Provide administrative support to the Diabetes Specialist Nurses and Healthcare Support workers within the diabetes service.
- Use Myrddin & CWS systems and other administrative systems to manage records and appointments.
- Support cross site coordination and communication for the diabetes service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

- Experience in a Health Service environment.
- Attributes - strong organisational and communication skills.
- Knowledge - familiarity with diabetes care processes and NHS administrative systems.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and requires a submission for Disclosure to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
£26,813 to £27,890 a year, pro rata.
