Description

Priory Hospital Lincolnshire is looking to recruit an Activities Co-ordinator to join the team. This is a full time 37.5 hours role.

Located in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, Priory Hospital Lincolnshire is a low secure unit for males with mental health conditions. It offers support to those who are detained under the Mental Health Act (MHA).

What you'll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.

  • Support senior staff with patient screening and assessments as part of the care and therapy planning process.
  • Prepare, plan and deliver group and individual recreational and occupational activities, observing, recording and reporting patient responses to the assigned clinician as appropriate.
  • Ensure effective, timely and accurate updating of clinical records, case files and computerised information systems as directed.
  • Contribute to surveys, audits and clinical research projects assisting with collection, analysis and presentation of data and information as directed.

The ideal candidates will be educated to GCSE / O-Levels A-C standard or hold a relevant NVQ Level 2 qualification, and will have gained experience within a related clinical or therapeutic environment, demonstrating the foundational knowledge and practical skills required to contribute effectively in a healthcare setting.
